We are happy to announce the Persian Society’s first formal event (a gathering/game night) taking place this Friday 6th of November.
We have arranged various games such as poker, backgammon (takhte), hokm and many more. There will also be snacks and pizza provide for you to enjoy the music and the games to the extreme level.
We would do our very best to create the best and the most joyful night for you in the Beorma Bar at the Guild of students from 19:00 to 23:00 hr.
Please make sure you turn up early to reserve your place at the tables, especially for the poker tournament.
Ohhhhh by the way, did we mention that this will be a free night for all our society members?????!!!!!!!! If you have not joined the society yet you could also become a member at the night of event.
So come along and enjoy this fantastic night.

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you all to the new academic year. Also, a warm welcome goes to the new students who have just arrived to Birmingham.
Persian Society is holding a meeting on Wednesday 28th October in the School of Chemistry (next to Mechanical Engineering Building), room H 203 (second floor), from 13:00 to 16:00.
During this time we will introduce the society to the new students and share our ideas and plans as well as taking members for this academic year. By becoming a member you can benefit from many of our free activities as well as discounts for many of our other events.
The University of Birmingham of Persian society would like to wish you all a year full of brilliant academic achievements as well as enjoyment and would promise to bring you the best of the events that would make the 2009-2010 academic years, a fantastic and memorable time for you all.
